Dr Russell McLaughlin (Senior Partner) attended Bangor Grammar School from 1983-1990 and Graduated in Medicine from Queen's Unversity Belfast in 1995. After training in Emergency Medicine in Northern Ireland he was appointed to a Consultant post in Emergency Medicine at the Ulster Hospital Dundonald in 2004. In 2009 he was appointed to a Consultant post in the Regional Trauma Unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast where he currently works as Consultant in Emergency Medicine. He fulfilled the role of Clinical Director for Emergency Care (2009-2012). Currently he is also working as a Consultant with the Northern Ireland Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (NIHEMS).

Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Fellow of the College of Emergency Medicine.
Masters in Medical Education, QUB, (Distinction).
